Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Planning Manager to join our team at Sky. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of our business plan.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Case Development

Develop and present comprehensive business cases to evaluate new business opportunities or partnership renewals.

Performance Reporting

Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on performance, progress on projects, risks, and opportunities.

Strategic Collaboration

Work closely with our Strategy teams to develop and refine business plan hypotheses and models.

Project Planning

Lead cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans, budgets, and 5-year plans.

Document Management

Manage and maintain a centralized repository of all business planning documents.

Process Improvement

Develop and implement processes and tools to streamline and improve business planning activities.

Methodology Review

Identify and recommend improvements to business planning methodology.

Data Analysis

Analyze data and hypotheses with critical capacity to challenge and evaluate alternative scenarios.

Due Diligence

Conduct due diligence on third-party business plans and industrial plans.

Special Projects

Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analysis requests.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong background in both business and finance.
  • 7+ years' experience in business planning, financial analysis, or strategy development.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with PowerPoint and other presentation software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in dynamic and challenging finance projects.
