Key Responsibilities- Manage and implement health and safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and regulations.
- Analyze data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make informed safety-related decisions.
- Provide guidance and support for health and safety projects and policies, ensuring a culture of safety and inclusivity across our sites.
- Drive initiatives to improve technical equipment specifications and designs, enhancing functionality and efficiency.
- Travel within the region to support site-based activities and collaborate with colleagues.
This is a varied role that allows you to contribute to multiple aspects of our safety culture. You will manage health and safety standards, improve functionality, and supervise team members to implement changes in response to employee feedback or seize opportunities for process improvements.
Your role is instrumental in keeping employees safe, managing their satisfaction, and supervising their wellbeing and productivity. You will foster a culture that revolves around operating safely, taking ownership of health and safety initiatives.
About the TeamOur WHS team works closely with managers, associates, and local governments to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and regulations. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of various locations across Italy, including Arzano, Bitonto, Calderara Di Reno, Calenzano, Cisterna Di Latina, Parma, Pisa, and Rome.
