About the Position

This role is located at the Aviano Youth Programs on Aviano AB, Italy.

This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain sports activities and facilities.
  • Ensure all fields and sports venues meet safety requirements directed by FS/SE, Consumer Products Safety Commission.
  • Perform field maintenance and set-up, including dragging, mowing, lining, and watering fields.
  • Recommend equipment for purchase to sustain and maintain safety standards.
  • Follow game and activity schedules, as well as the rules and regulations to be observed.
  • Accurately and timely fill out incident/accident reports, monitor practices and games, maintain referee/umpire contractor logged timesheets, and maintain set up and clean up procedures according to policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Complete a background investigation with favorable results.
  • Satisfactorily complete pre-employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Pass a physical examination and have required immunizations.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License to operate vehicles.
  • Follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment.
