At WiseEnergy Group, we are committed to leading the transition to clean energy and generating a more sustainable future. As a Renewable Energy Technical Expert, you will be part of our Global Technical Operations Team, working alongside international team members in UK, US, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Chile, Poland, and India.

The core of this role is daily supervision and analysis of the performance of solar plants, monitoring, incident tracking and resolution, performance analysis, issue investigation, and robust reporting. This critical role ensures performance optimization across clients' portfolios by maximizing uptime. Strong management of service providers and other partners is also crucial.

You will oversee a portfolio of clients/projects from onboarding through business as usual, ensuring that they have necessary data, technical documentation, and information to manage their caseload of solar PV plants effectively in line with our industry-leading standards.

This position may require occasional European travel to visit sites under management for asset quality checks and to supervise service providers once you become permanent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily supervision and analysis of Ground Mount PV portfolio's technical performance and operations
  • Track plant incidents and take ownership of resolutions
  • Optimize availability and performance ratio of the portfolio under supervision
  • Support line manager in daily supervision and analysis of portfolio technical performance and operations
  • Manage relationships with Operation & Maintenance contractors and Customer Interface on Technical Issues
  • Ensure O&M / other technical service providers achieve contractual obligations
  • Prepare and deliver periodic reports on technical performance and operational aspects of plants, supervise junior team members' reporting
  • Supervise and manage outcomes of site visits executed by site managers, post-construction punch lists
  • Supervise control of technical documentation related to plants
  • Support compliance with DNOs, insurance companies, Public Entities, etc.
  • Constantly identify and implement process improvements
  • Support line manager in coordinating activities with other departments
  • Support line manager in developing a growing and diverse technical team
  • Establish and maintain internal control and integrity environment
  • Lead team meetings, allocate support for collaborative working environment

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 30 days' holiday, annual discretionary bonus, and hybrid working arrangement.
