Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in developing innovative electrical systems for our customers. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, including electrical rotating machines, MV/LV panels, and variable speed drive systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including electrical rotating machines, MV/LV panels, and variable speed drive systems.
  • Perform technical selection of electrical items, including electrical MV generators, electrical MV motor, MV Variable Speed Drive Systems, control cabinet, and electrical control panels.
  • Formulate functional purchase specifications/data sheet and close technical alignment of supplier technical proposals.
  • Manage technical documentation during the engineering development phase, following up with suppliers and customers until finalization.
  • Carry out engineering design reviews with suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with customer contractual specifications and project applicable international rules.
  • Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) for main/critical items and support the manufacturing team for internal testing. Provide engineering site support during plant commissioning and start-up.
Requirements:
  • Masters' degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.
  • Substantial technical knowledge of electrical rotating machines, MV/LV panels, variable speed drive systems.
  • Good problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills, along with interpersonal skills.
  • Good team player with good communication skills, fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers.
  • Fluency in both English and Italian (oral and written) and hold an EU passport or work permit.
