Job Title: Lease Planning Program Manager

Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the driving force behind Microsoft's cloud services, and our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality infrastructure to support cloud operations. As Microsoft's Cloud business continues to grow, our infrastructure expansion accelerates, and Datacenters play a crucial role in this growth. To support this, the acquisition and development of our owned, designed, and constructed Datacenter facilities will scale to meet the demands of our customers, while we also continue to lease and acquire Datacenter capacity at pace, particularly in our high-growth markets, working closely with Datacenter operators in each region and across the globe.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Strategically analyze infrastructure growth and derive insights to shape multi-year growth roadmaps, aligning supply and demand strategies with infrastructure growth.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to authenticate demand signals and comprehend demand drivers, ensuring market conditions are accurately reflected.
  • Collaborate with regional Site Acquisition teams to optimize DC growth across numerous markets.
  • Collaborate with the Global Lease Asset Management for proactive planning on asset renewals and expirations to drive informed decision making.
  • Apply strong project and program management expertise to streamline and accelerate projects through existing processes.
  • Actively gather, maintain, and analyze numerous data points such as business intelligence, market intelligence, and historical trends that will inform critical decision points for future growth.
  • Maintain and update inventory for supply and market intelligence.
  • Routinely review dashboards and tools to ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and briefings, clearly articulating complex business decisions into comprehensible concepts.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as requested by executive stakeholders to address specific questions or concerns related to datacenter supply and demand.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, Supply Chain, or related field AND relevant experience
  • OR equivalent years of experience.

  • Exceptional program or product management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with excellent analytical and reporting skills.
