Main Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership supervision and expertise to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Defines project objectives in terms of duration and resources, and pilots the project status to ensure forecast reliability.
  • Fulfills an advisory role to the project management team, highlighting areas of concern and solutions to achieve a successful and timely completion of projects.
  • Operates the project planning team, developing a schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy.
  • Plans to mitigate risks and reduce costs, defining and optimizing necessary resources.
  • Defines the planning and scheduling system, including methods, procedures, time-schedules, physical progress, and dashboards.
  • Supports client approval processes for schedule baselines, progress claimed, or milestones achieved.
  • Increases project team members' awareness of project milestones, main durations, and critical paths.
  • Monitors project status to detect delays and proposes corrective actions.
  • Estimates delays linked with changes and claims, and prepares extension of time analysis in case of delay due to client.
  • Provides project feedback and lessons learned to improve planning and scheduling methods and provide input to statistics of the planning department.
  • Provides expertise and leadership to the scheduling and planning department, defining orientations, objectives, and budget.

About You

We're looking for a skilled professional with:

  • Engineering degree
  • Professional English language skills
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in project execution

Main Skills

  • Expert knowledge of project planning tools
  • Good knowledge of EPCI work processes and sequences
  • Deep understanding of business principles for the oil and gas industry
  • Basic knowledge of the global business process management system (GBPMS)
  • Able to present data and facts in a clear and consistent manner
  • Thorough understanding and experience in project delivery processes and principles
