Purpose and Scope of Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to join our team at Tekprostaff. As a key member of our technical marketing support team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with field sales teams to actively pursue targeted industries opportunities and accounts by utilizing internal selection tools.
  2. Work closely with component vendors to integrate company products into designed prepared packages to offer to specific industry targets.
  3. Perform cost analysis of new inquiries and quotations between company and sales force.
  4. Review customer inquiries and project requirements to establish scope of supply limits and costing.
  5. Develop detailed comments to client project specifications.
  6. Assist in the evaluation of non-standard product requests, applications, and capabilities.
  7. Work with Sales, Customers, and Vendors to obtain project-specific information and develop project equipment applications.
  8. Prepare technical data for internal and external customers.
  9. Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
  10. Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) with one to two (1-2) years' experience in the rotating equipment industry.
  2. Basic knowledge in Project Management Body of Knowledge.
  3. Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma CI best practices, White belt level.
