YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cost Estimation: Deliver precise cost assessments for new designs and modifications in engineering.
  • Data Analysis: Examine cost data to pinpoint cost drivers and trends, formulating strategies for cost reduction.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work alongside procurement to negotiate advantageous supplier agreements and assess quotes for competitiveness.
  • Value Engineering: Lead value engineering sessions to promote innovation and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Team Training: Educate and mentor teams on cost models, nurturing a culture of cost awareness within the organization.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Analytic and Quantitative Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues using quantitative techniques.
  • Cost Engineering Deployment: Expertise in effectively implementing cost engineering and influencing teams.
  • Educational Background: A degree in electromechanical engineering.
  • Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product development with an emphasis on cost/value engineering.
