Director of Sales Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team at COREcruitment. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, and partners to increase market share.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in both the corporate and leisure sectors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and packages to attract different customer segments.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the property.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel.
  • Strong understanding of the Rome market and existing relationships with local businesses and travel agents.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
