Job Summary

Villanova University seeks a highly skilled Wide Format Specialist to join its Graphic Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for operating wide format printers, routers, and other equipment to produce high-quality prints and signs for the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate wide format printers and routers to produce prints and signs for various applications, including directional, safety, and informational signs.
  • Meet with internal and external customers to discuss job requirements, capture specifications, and take accurate measurements for project planning.
  • Develop and maintain effective workflows to maximize output and productivity, and perform operator maintenance of related equipment.
  • Use computer-assisted design software and sign router software to design, layout, and fabricate signs, including Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) signs.
  • Install signs as needed in compliance with sign standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer-directed programs related to wide format and sign-making.
  • Knowledge of wide format printing and finishing.
  • Knowledge of sign-making and related processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-5 years wide format digital printing experience.
  • 1 year of router operation experience.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Occasional mandatory overtime, and exposure to loud machinery. Comfortable with working on 4' ladder.
