Job Title: Project Manager - Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Construction to join our team at EDP Renováveis. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our onshore wind and solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the construction of onshore wind farms and solar PV projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as quality standards.
  • Manage and lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in electrical or civil works or similar.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction of onshore wind farms, solar PV, substations, and high-voltage lines.
  • Relevant experience in construction of other renewable or equivalent projects in the power sector is a plus.
  • Experience working in a large-scale utility and multicultural environment is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Construction Management.
  • Project Management.
  • Onshore wind and solar PV regulations in the country.
  • Electric and civil works.
  • MS Project.
  • MS Office.
  • AutoCad & GIS is a plus.
Language:
  • Italian.
  • English.
Working Conditions:

Flexibility and availability to travel regularly in the country and from time to time internationally.

Strong sense of values and ethics, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Ability to work within approved budgets and under deadline pressure and deliver high-quality results.
