About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country EHS Manager to join our team at Siemens Digital Industries Software. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Strategies: Create and implement EHS strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead EHS Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular EHS audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with our EHS management system.
  • Provide EHS Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS-related matters, including training and coaching on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Manage EHS Incidents and Investigations: Investigate and manage EHS incidents, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to prevent recurrence and that employees are held accountable for their actions.
  • Develop and Maintain EHS Documentation: Develop and maintain EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that EHS goals and objectives are aligned with business objectives.
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate leadership skills by leading by example, setting high standards for EHS performance, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Develop and Leverage Relationships: Develop and leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve EHS goals and objectives.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders on EHS-related matters.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to ensure compliance with our EHS management system.
Requirements
  • Advanced Degree in EHS or Related Field: Possess an advanced degree in EHS or a related field, such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
  • Proven EHS Experience: Possess proven experience in EHS, including experience in developing and implementing EHS strategies, leading EHS audits and assessments, and managing EHS incidents and investigations.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead by example, develop and leverage relationships, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Expert Knowledge of EHS Regulations: Possess expert knowledge of EHS regulations, including ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and other relevant regulations.
  • Fluency in Italian: Possess fluency in Italian, both written and spoken.
