About This Role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Hitachi Vantara Corporation, you will play a critical role in deploying and supporting a Quality Culture within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to assure and control Quality with systems, tools, and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of effective internal controls to verify that processes meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Represent the Voice of the Customer within local teams, ensuring that customer feedback and input are incorporated into decision-making processes.
  • Challenge teams to evaluate risks, problems, and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view, enabling and coaching employees to make informed decisions.
  • Utilize the Quality Management System to provide local teams with procedures and documentation that describe their work activities, leading the teams in the application of an operational approach and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness.
  • Embody core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a previous role, preferably in a quality assurance or process excellence position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English (B1-B2) and Italian.
  • A high level of flexibility, proactivity, and willingness to learn.
  • Strong teamworking and organization skills.
