Job Title: Medical Affairs Scientist Line Manager

Pfizer is seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Scientist Line Manager to join our Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) Medical Affairs team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating Medical Affairs activities in Dermatology, Rheumatology, and Gastroenterology therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Medical Affairs activities in I&I therapeutic areas
  • Develop and implement Medical Affairs strategies in collaboration with global teams
  • Manage budgets and expenses for Medical Affairs activities
  • Lead and manage a team of Medical Affairs professionals
  • Provide scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals and research centers
  • Identify and build effective relationships with healthcare professionals and research centers
  • Contribute to the selection of research locations in collaboration with clinical operations
Requirements:
  • Medicine degree required
  • Relevant cross-TA experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience in clinical research is strongly preferred
  • Experience in team leading is preferred
  • Excellent scientific and technical expertise
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional colleagues in a matrix team
  • Excellent English and local language skills
