About the Role

Pfizer, S.A. de C.V is seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Scientist to join our Oncology Medical Affairs Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing scientific expertise and support to healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Hematology and Oncology, with experience in conducting clinical research activities and developing local medical strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest scientific standards, establishing collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and providing medical and scientific data to support the safe and effective use of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement local medical strategies to support the growth and development of our Oncology portfolio.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, research centers, and other stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices.
  3. Provide scientific and medical data to support the safe and effective use of our products, and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer medical insights into our country medical and brand strategy.
  5. Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulations, and maintain the highest level of medical independence.
Requirements
  1. Medicine degree required, with specialty training or PhD in Hematology or Oncology strongly preferred.
  2. Relevant experience in conducting clinical research activities and developing local medical strategies.
  3. Excellent scientific and technical expertise, including clinical studies management and ad boards.
  4. Ability to work with cross-functional colleagues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  5. Excellent English and local language skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively.
