Job Description:

Reporting to the Chief Internal Audit Officer, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics leader who will drive a strategic shift and transformation for the Internal Audit organization.
The successful candidate will spearhead the implementation of data analytics, data mining, and artificial intelligence-based solutions, driving the implementation of continuous auditing procedures in future audit plans.
This will boost the team's efficiency and effectiveness, establishing an enhanced control framework that can be seamlessly transitioned to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a forward-thinking leader, the ideal candidate will lead transformative initiatives and implement disruptive solutions that leverage technology, driving significant impact across the organization.
Develop predictive models, automated testing, data analytics tools, data mining, and artificial intelligence-based solutions that champion the use of advanced analytics and automation methods across all audit portfolios.
Influence operations to adopt such solutions to deploy continuous monitoring activities using a risk-based approach, assessing business processes to identify key process and risk indicators capable of highlighting process issues or suboptimal control frameworks.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights, analyzing complex data, identifying anomalies, and providing usable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Detect patterns for data analysis to identify financial, operational, compliance, or IT issues, addressing audit team hypothesis and business challenges.

Requirements:

Education: Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
Experience: The position targets candidates with a minimum of 12-15 years of combined experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Operational and Risk/Audit roles within global, complex organizations.
At least 2-3 years in leadership positions are required, and we highly regard potential and a growth mindset.

Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business processes, internal control, and corporate governance.
Process Design: Strong background and proven experience in process design and deployment, with a focus on strategic processes at a global level.
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify patterns, flag incongruencies, and apply critical thinking.
Technical Expertise: Deep experience in IT, Data Analytics, Data Mining, and Artificial Intelligence Solutions, as well as strong knowledge of SAP systems.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing and relationship building, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
CIA, CISA certifications are beneficial.
Language: Fluent in English and Italian.
