We are in search of a qualified professional to assume the role of Senior Piping Engineer.
Location: Rome, Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate under the guidance of the Project Piping Leader.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of Piping Engineers within your team.
- Ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of technical documentation for projects.
- Analyze equipment layouts to develop the Plot Plan.
- Evaluate piping routes to create the Piping Layout.
- Conduct piping material take-offs to determine material requirements for construction.
- Engage actively in the development of 3D models, supervising the relevant activities of your team.
- Review documentation provided by vendors.
- Manage the production of construction-related documents, including Isometric Sketches and General Arrangement Drawings.
- Interface with specialists from other disciplines and project support functions such as planning and cost control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in detailed engineering and design of piping systems for Refinery, Gas, Power, Renewables, or Infrastructure projects in a similar role, or at least 15 years in a related capacity.
- Proficient in SmartPlant3D.
- Strong knowledge of 2D design software, such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Fluent in English.
