Job SummaryWe're seeking a Piping Materials Engineer Junior to join our Materials Management team in Rome. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our Piping Materials Section Head to manage piping materials definition, procurement, and quantity follow-up.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of Piping Classes Summary & Piping Classes
- Aid in creating Job Specifications for design and supply
- Assist in preparing Data Sheets for special materials
- Support Piping Material Take-Offs, Working Instructions, and Monitoring Quantities
- Help prepare Material Requisitions for inquiry and purchase
- Evaluate vendor offers, perform technical Bid Tabulations, and review vendor documentation
- Prepare Quantities re-evaluation for Purchasing and Construction
- Collaborate in preparing Piping Materials Forecast Runs to ensure material availability at Site
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a Master's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering. You should be fluent in Italian and English, with strong MS Office skills and a growth mindset.
