The selected candidate will be responsible for generating documents and deliverables assigned by the Group Leader related to Material & Work Quantities Estimation & Management tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines. The Junior Engineer will report directly to the Group Leader, Specialist, or Engineer regarding the quality of the deliverables.

This role involves handling tasks of varying technical complexity, necessitating different skill levels; the candidate will receive support from the Group Leader to enhance their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and their compliance with contractual and company standards, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Maintain a historical database for Instrumentation quantities.
  • Prepare and manage Work Requisition documentation in collaboration with the Construction/subcontracting department.
  • Assist Project Leaders with proposals and execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with the Group Leader/Specialist to verify quantities and compare instrumentation materials and activities on-site.
  • Estimate materials and works during the bidding phase, following the guidelines provided by the Group Leader.
  • Issue accounting for materials and works, ensuring correct application of measurement methods and subcontractor charges.
  • Provide current estimates of materials and works during the engineering phase, based on data and information from the Project Leader.
  • Conduct technical training as needed and share experiences with colleagues across the Tecnimont Group regarding new design techniques.
  • Stay informed about technical advancements in the discipline.

Personal Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or a high school diploma in a technical discipline.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
  • Ability to navigate uncertainties in the market.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel for short and extended periods.
