We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Argotec S.r.l. as a Product Manager for Small-Satellite Platforms. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will play a critical role in defining and executing our product roadmap, ensuring the competitiveness of our products and driving their development cycles.
Key Responsibilities- Product Development: Participate in strategies that drive product development, with a particular focus on small-satellite platforms.
- Market Analysis: Plan and execute activities oriented towards identifying key users' needs and capturing market development opportunities.
- Product Requirements: Define product requirements, assist in the planning of product design, and support the whole development cycles.
- Launch Preparation: Prepare and lead the launch of new products/solutions.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor market trends, track competitors' products, and put strategies in place to highlight potential threats.
- Technical Review: Review technical documents (Design Description, ICD, Test Procedures, Technical Specifications, etc.).
- Support Functions: Support Sales and Marketing personnel, Business Development activities, R&D in the development of new technologies, and Engineering in the execution of product development projects.
- Language: Excellent spoken and written English.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management.
- Skills: Analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving attitude, ability to translate a strategic vision into concrete projects, communication skills, teamwork, creativity, strong knowledge of small-satellites, including EO and Telecom ones, strong technical knowledge and understanding of the industry and the product domains, with a focus on Avionics systems, proven track record of launching products in the market, experience in managing cross-functional projects, experience in conducting market research, user research, data analysis, and testing, experience in creating and delivering effective presentations and documents, using various tools and formats, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
- Avionics Subsystems Design and Development: Experience in Avionics subsystems design and development is preferred.
- Established Network: Established network in the Defense & Aerospace industry.
- Space Standards: Knowledge of the space standards (CCSDS, ECSS, MIL, etc.).
- Security Clearance: Ability to handle sensitive and classified information as required by government standards.
- Product Management Methodologies: Experience in applying product management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
