About the Role:

The System Engineer is a key member of the engineering organization at Di Tec, reporting directly to the discipline coordinator. As the technical contact, they are responsible for all technical aspects related to project execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop system auxiliaries for Steam Turbine driven Compressor and Generator applications, Electric Motors, and Turboexpanders.
  • Support the customer technical contact during engineering project execution, from customer specification to as-built documentation.
  • Ensure consistency of drafting, completeness of input, and documentation delivery according to planning.
  • Main documents: PIDs, utility consumption list, and electrical load list.
  • Select main items (control and on/off valve, boosters, heaters, filters) according to customer requirements and standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate experience using CAD software such as ACAD or similar.
  • Show ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and priorities.
  • Additional skills and preferences:
    • Attitude to teamworking and problem-solving.
    • Experience working within an engineering organization or environment.
    • Capability to work under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Basic knowledge in systems calculation (sizing of orifices, PCVs, PSVs, On/off, filters, heaters).
    • Ability to develop predictive model design (Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysis).
    • Basic knowledge of package integration with focus on mechanical and instrument disciplines: piping class, material selection, instrument selection, and installation.
    • Basic knowledge of international standards (API614, API692).
