Job Description

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy to join its team in Italy within the Green Energy Solutions Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Owner's Engineering Services and Independent Engineering Services for BESS and renewable energy projects in Italy and Southeast Europe.
  • Review resource availability studies, technology studies, and structural studies; review electrical design projects, contractual documentation, and environmental studies.
  • Execute feasibility studies and preliminary design of BESS and renewable power plants.
  • Manage projects, including proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Support proposal preparation and reporting.
  • Support tendering, negotiation, and selection of contractors and key component providers.
  • Conduct on-site visit inspections and produce reports.
Requirements
  • Electrical engineering background or experience in electrical design, preferably in an Engineering & Consultancy Company or EPC Contractor.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and PVcase.
  • Over 8 years of renewable energy experience, with at least 2 years in BESS.
  • Experience in renewable permitting process is advantageous.
  • Previous experience working for an Engineering & Consultancy Firm or EPC Contractor is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Education

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Management Engineering.
