The Fortinet Systems Engineering team is composed of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to addressing customer challenges through the provision of top-tier Cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and uphold sophisticated security solutions tailored for telecommunications enterprises.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to guarantee the efficacy of security measures.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee all technical dimensions of the sales process, from initial inquiries to formal proposals and quotes, including project management and active engagement in proof of concepts.
  • Exhibit strong listening skills to comprehend customer technical requirements, enabling the development of superior solutions compared to competitors.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for customers and partners, working closely with sales counterparts.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Effectively position Fortinet solutions to customers, whether remotely or in person, requiring strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Manage time efficiently while handling multiple deals concurrently.
  • Keep precise records of activities, contacts, and technical information regarding all customers and prospects in our CRM system.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • A strong aptitude for security technologies, particularly in encryption and authentication, with additional knowledge in network security, intrusion detection, and routing.
  • Experience in a pre-sales engineering role, managing the technical aspects of deals through to closure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities that have led to significant wins in previous roles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships, effectively communicating technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of security protocols and technologies, including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, and FIREWALL.
