Procurement Buyer Role at Hitachi Rail

Hitachi Rail is seeking a skilled Procurement Buyer to join our team in Pistoia, Italy. As a Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers, formulating requests for tenders, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on technical specifications
  • Formulate requests for tenders and quotations
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
  • Manage purchase orders and inventory
Requirements:
  • Technical-commercial degree in engineering, management, or economic/legal disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of English language (at least B2)
