Job Title: Senior Model Based Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Senior Model Based Design Engineer to join our team in Cremona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our clients in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop mathematical models for physical engineering systems, taking into account mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, and hydraulic aspects.
  2. Conduct simulations to calculate energy efficiency associated with the use of pumps in specific applications of vehicles, according to different working conditions.
  3. Create 3D models using Creo SW of the previously simulated systems.
  4. Plan and follow tests in the testing department to validate the starting theoretical models.
About You:

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a PhD, Senior Master Engineer, or Junior Master Engineer with strong knowledge and experience in the components of vacuum pumps and hydraulic brake pumps. You should have a strong background in Matlab, Octave, and AMEsim, and be able to implement calculation codes for simulation and sizing.
