As a Bridge Engineer Intern, you will work within an international team, supporting colleagues across Europe. You will have the opportunity to engage in a fulfilling career, working with some of the most respected engineers and specialists in the world.

You will be involved in challenging bridge projects, from concept to detailed design and asset management. You will learn and apply structural software skills, structural analysis modeling, and the Arup Structural Skills Network.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Bridges (or close to Graduation)
  • Excellent academic background
  • Fluency in English language
  • Skills in planning and organizing
  • Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn

Preferred:

  • Coursework in Bridges design and (preferably) a Master thesis on Bridges
  • Knowledge and experience of Structural software skills (preferably Midas Civil and/or SOFiSTiK)
  • Software skills: MathCad, AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling (Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with programming language such as C++, Python, etc
  • Proven ability to perform in a deadline environment
  • Past history of technical presentations and technical writing
  • Evidence of personal investment in academic or extracurricular field
