We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying commodities strategies, ensuring project execution aligns with quality, cost, and delivery objectives, and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pilot local contractual relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate cost reduction with suppliers
  • Lead supplier QCD performance reviews
  • Manage initial issues before escalation to line manager

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures is essential, as well as the ability to apply the Alstom Sourcing processes.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market rates.
