As a seasoned process engineer, you will oversee the development, design, and management of projects within the pharmaceutical sector. Your expertise in process engineering will be essential as you tackle challenges and collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to guide a project team effectively.

You will be responsible for the technical execution and overall management of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Execute process design and calculations during various project phases Develop tender documentation and align with suppliers Create P&IDs Address customer specifications Manage project execution and oversight Oversee plant commissioning Conduct qualification/validation in accordance with GMP standards

Depending on project demands and scale, you may be required to perform technical work in process engineering, including material and heat balances, PFD, P&IDs, and EDS.

Candidate Profile

You hold a Master’s degree in chemical engineering and possess significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry (over 8 years). You are adept at working independently while being an integral part of a professional team. Your problem-solving and communication skills are strong; you are customer-focused and equipped to handle conflicts effectively.

Solid understanding of upstream and downstream processes, as well as cleaning and sterilization in place systems (SIP/CIP). Familiarity with c-GMP, ISPE, and FDA regulations. Previous experience in the Biotechnology sector is a preferred asset.
