Project Manager Job Description

Prysmian Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Milano, Italy. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project teams and third-party contractors or consultants
  • Manage project activities and retain final responsibility for project execution
  • Represent the company towards customers and resolve issues related to project implementation
  • Define and control baseline scope, program, and allowances in line with change management procedures
  • Progress project activities in close coordination with engineering and installation disciplines
  • Establish budgets and monitor costs against budget, manage claims and variations to achieve CM targets
  • Ensure correct allocation of resources necessary for project completion

Requirements:

  • Approximately 5-7 years of professional experience as a Project Manager in the oil and gas, energy sector of a multinational company
  • Previous work experience with EPCI projects
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or similar related degrees with a PMP certification
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong negotiation skills, team working abilities, and excellent leadership and influencing skills
  • Attitude to deeply understand scope and technical aspects of project together with traditional PM skills
  • Flexible mindset and ability to work in a dynamic context
  • Good communication skills
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Specific knowledge of submarine cable and offshore operations is a plus
