About Us
Technip Energies is a global engineering and technology leader in the energy transition, committed to accelerating the transition to a low-carbon future.
We are currently seeking a Naval Architect to join our Engineering team based in Italy, Rome Operating Center.
The successful candidate will work within the Modular Design Section, managing the Sea Transportation activities, including marine and load-out activities, in close coordination with project leads and functional entities.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and analysis of mooring systems
• Definition of vessel motions and sea accelerations on modules during sea transportation
• Issue and review of technical parts of requisitions, bid analysis, and purchase orders
• Issue and review of naval deliverables related to the load-out/load-in phase
• Review of technical documentation issued by transport vessel contractors
• Coordination with marine warranty surveyors and interfacing with other parties to ensure load-out, barge transport, off-load, installation, stability, stowage plans, ballast management, and bollard pull calculations for barges and modules according to Noble Denton requirements.
About You
We invite applications from experienced Naval Architects with a master's degree in marine architecture/naval engineering and proficiency in English.
Previous experience in load-out and transport operations is considered a plus, as is knowledge of French.
