About the Role

This position is located in the Field Central Review Body (FCRB) and Reference Verification (RV) Unit in the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi.

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness of data and correct set-up of evaluation criteria in line with recruitment rules and practices. You will also coordinate the nomination and extension process of FCRB members, run checks on various lists, and determine the outcome of the reference verification process.

You will participate in the selection of candidates for FCRB/RVU unit positions, including evaluating and screening applications, preparing profiles of candidates, conducting preliminary interviews, and identifying short lists of candidates.

In addition, you will assist in the filling of FCRB/RVU unit posts, organizing and coordinating competitive recruitment examinations, and monitoring knowledge gaps to prepare and deliver training to all actors involved in recruitment.

You will create, update, and disseminate training and guidance material, provide logistics and administrative support to trainers, and maintain HR-related automated systems and applications.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administrative services, or a related area. Experience in performing recruitment oversight, recruitment process compliance review, or reference verification-related duties is desirable.
