Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development Manager to join our team in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing utility-scale agro-PV projects, working closely with the Project Director and Country Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake and coordinate all necessary activities for the successful development of solar projects, ensuring compliance with RP Global's technical and economic standards.
  • Support the Country Manager/Project Directors with planning and monitoring activities, tracking major tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Lead and manage relations with third parties and co-developers, ensuring agro-PV projects are developed in line with RP Global's standards.
  • Support the Country Manager/Project Director in negotiating preliminary land agreements and ensuring contracts meet RP Global's criteria.
  • Critically assess technical documentation prepared by co-developers, delivering high-quality outputs that meet international and national technical frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relations with local stakeholders, including landowners and local partners.
  • Proactively identify and secure land plots needed for agro-PV project implementation.
  • Secure the most economical MV/HV grid connection and manage the application procedure for obtaining grid capacity with local DNO/TSO.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Energy Engineering preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of technical guidelines applied to PV projects in Italy.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in solar-PV projects, preferably as a Development Project Manager.
  • High communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
