At Suanfarma, SA, we are looking for an expert to assist with the transfer and implementation of defined processes for new products from R&D laboratory to the plant manufacturing site.

Job Purpose

The Process Transfer and Manufacturing Expert is responsible for preparing, executing, and documenting technology transfers for R&D projects, technical service, and production support according to the guidelines provided by the R&D Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports the project team with respect to scaling up processes, new equipment and procedures, equipment and process validation, and manufacturing of development, stability, and process qualification batches.
  • Assists in preparing the manufacturing site for the manufacture of new products.
  • Communicates as necessary with the various plant departments, other support departments, project team members, and other internal customers.
  • Prepares master batch records and protocols for the manufacture of development.
  • Works with management to translate development findings into manufacturing processes.
  • Technically assesses manufacturing processes by risk analysis method(s) and uses results to design robust manufacturing processes.
  • Provides information and documentation needed for regulatory submissions or responses as required.
  • Ensures correctness in the preparation and execution of technology transfers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Chemistry.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Technology Transfer Specialist in a Pharmaceutical Company.
  • Familiarity with the production of generic APIs.
  • Fluency in English.
