About the Role

My English School Palermo is seeking a part-time English language educator to join our team. As a teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of activities, including grammar lessons, conversation classes, and exam prep
  • Use a communicative methodology and technology in and outside the classroom
  • Provide training and ongoing support to ensure student success

Requirements

  • CERTIFIED TEACHING CERTIFICATION (CELTA/TESOL/TEFL or equivalent)
  • NATIVE-LEVEL ENGLISH (C2 certification for non-native applicants)
  • AT LEAST ONE YEAR'S TEACHING EXPERIENCE (newly-qualified teachers will be considered)
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF ITALIAN (desired for certain courses)
  • RIGHT TO WORK IN ITALY

Working Conditions

  • MONDAY TO FRIDAY, EARLY AFTERNOONS AND/OR SOME MORNINGS
