Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes and identifying areas for improvement to ensure compliance with corporate privacy and security policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the collection of data process mapping and data element inventories to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of global privacy and data security policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain ongoing maintenance of privacy and data security.
  • Review applications and technology environments during the development and/or acquisition process to ensure compliance with corporate privacy and security policies and direction.
  • Perform special projects for Cybersecurity GRC throughout the region as needed.
  • Analyze complex business processes or issues and quickly understand the business issues and related privacy and data challenges.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and define improvement requirements to lead solution design and provide project coordination.
  • Support and monitor compliance efforts to ensure compliance issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform Cybersecurity GRC administration tasks and have authority to design solutions for projects approved by the Senior Director: Cybersecurity GRC.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Several years of work experience in a business analyst related role.
  • BA or MA diploma.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to interface with top management.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security laws is a plus.
  • Fluency in Italian, German, French, or Spanish.
  • Ability to travel to the US and throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India (EMEAI) as needed.
