Logistics Engineer - Europe

The KONE Supply Chain function is responsible for a resilient, industry-leading supply chain network, which helps us meet and exceed our customers' expectations. KONE Supply Chain also drives the Safety, Quality, Environment and Sustainability work across KONE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics operations and network in Europe
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the supply chain
  • Lead and coordinate projects related to logistics engineering, including process redesign and automation
  • Liaise with external partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, measuring their KPIs
  • Support Finance in Budget and Forecast activities
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in logistics engineering
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • Proven experience in Logistics Engineering, Logistics Analytics or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with others
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
  • Knowledge of European logistics regulations and practices
  • English mandatory, any other European language is a plus

The position is located in Pero (Milan). We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations to join our dynamic Europe Logistics team.
