About the Maker Space

The Maker Space is a 400 m2 prototype workshop within the NOI Techpark, offering an ideal environment to bring ideas to life. We support South Tyrolean companies, start-ups, research institutions, and students in realizing their ideas and prototypes through a wide range of technologies and expert specialists.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure a positive user experience and provide support for DIY customers, including students, start-ups, and companies.
  • Supervise and support DIY projects and prototyping.
  • Organize and implement safety briefings, workshops, and information events.
  • Promote the Maker Space and manage, maintain, and care for the machines and labs.

Requirements

  • A passion for interacting with people on a daily basis and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An open, curious personality who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting others in their projects.
  • Enthusiasm for tinkering, experimenting, and manual dexterity to find creative solutions.
  • High motivation to learn new technologies and applications, as well as sound IT skills.
  • Experience or strong interest in CAD drawing, CNC technology, or additive manufacturing.
  • Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German and Italian.
