About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Strategist to join our team in Pistoia, Italy. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial results, monitoring budgeting and forecasting, and identifying potential financial risk areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial results and identify potential financial risk areas
  • Monitor budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements
  • Close teamwork with the Project Management team, participating in economic and financial activities
  • Actively participate in the monthly/quarterly/yearly closing process, coordinating with the Finance & Project Management teams within the factory
  • Ensure commercial and financial reporting on a monthly basis during project phases, signaling issues and opportunities
  • Drive the optimization of project cash flow and revenues, maintaining the accuracy of the project balance sheet, income statement, and monthly/quarterly forecast
  • Coordinate all financial aspects of the project, including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecasted revenues and cash flow, and risk assessments

Requirements

  • Solid experience as Project Controller or similar role
  • Experience in Project Controlling, Contract Management, revenue recognition, and forecasting variances
  • Knowledge of Project Management basics and SAP (especially CO) is desirable
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking ability
  • Passion and enthusiasm for deal management in complex projects
  • Proactivity and ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately €60,000 - €80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
