This is a key position within the Southern Cluster Demand Planning team, responsible for demand planning activities for a specific country and/or country-product category combination. The successful candidate will have exposure to various business levels and will be the owner of their work, reporting to the Associate Manager Demand Planning Southern Cluster. The role involves collaborating with various functions across the supply chain regionally.
Responsibilities- Use and maintain current demand planning systems to create the best forecast possible using established processes.
- Collect and analyze past/future demand inputs from sales and marketing and calculate their impacts on demand.
- Work with cross-functional partners on projects such as new product launches, discontinuations, and transitions to evaluate assumptions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance for advertising and promotional activities.
- Ensure demand forecast is shared in level of detail and timing required by internal customers and supply chain partners.
- Influence and collaborate with key partners in marketing, sales, and finance to address input gaps.
- Measure, analyze, and communicate key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators.
- Minimum of 3 years of Demand Planning and Supply Chain/Business experience.
- Strong experience of demonstrated results and working in a team-based, cross-functional environment.
- Good hands-on experience in demand planning and simulation systems or tools.
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
- Intermediate experience using PC-based applications.
