Workplace Health and Safety Manager

Amazon Logistics is seeking a driven and proactive Workplace Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for driving health and safety initiatives across our AMZL sites in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of safety performance and monitoring, in line with personnel, team, and functional goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that WHS systems are accurate and up-to-date, with completed incident reports and supporting documentation.
  • Facilitate or arrange training programs on critical WHS issues.
  • Assist with the coordination and training of new Health and Safety team members.
  • Support the implementation of WHS programs within Operations, while delivering key risk assessment activities.
  • Promote compliance with local and EU legislation.
  • Assist the WHS Manager with the construction of incident prevention programs.
  • Act as a proxy for the WHS Manager.
  • Contribute to requests for improvement of on-site safety and positively impact accident trends.
  • Prepare responses to insurers or solicitors in response to any personal injury claims.
  • Participate in the Safety Audit Programs.
  • Arrange, facilitate, and contribute to site Safety Steering Committee meetings.
  • Arrange and conduct basic surveys and checks in the Delivery stations environment, looking into facility processes, Health and Safety supplies, and employee behaviors.
