Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Data Scientist to join our Construction Data Science team based in Paris (France) and Rome (Italy). The successful candidate will report directly to the Global Construction Data Innovation Manager in Rome and will be responsible for developing and improving digital solutions, data science solutions, data accessibility, and business intelligence for better estimating, preparing, and controlling construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize construction resources, costs, and duration.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and trends, and deliver recommendations for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with businesses to understand their needs and identify use cases for data science solutions.
  • Work with IT and Data Office teams to understand the data framework and develop, deploy, and run digital and data science products.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, cleansing, and data preparation processes.
  • Implement machine learning models and monitor their performance.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders and prepare documentation, training, and webinars on data science.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematical Sciences.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interface with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages (Python, R, Julia), and data science libraries.
  • Knowledge of machine learning models, data pipelines, and data preparation.
