Job Title: Field Service Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join our team at Veolia. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our Italian customers with a specific focus on North East and Centre Italy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain a variety of water treatment equipment
  • Conduct chemical analysis on field turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, COD, Nitrogen (N-NO2; N-NO3; NH3) O2, and other site-specific testing requirements
  • Verify and control biological process (Activated Sludge, MBR...)
  • Verify and control chemical process (Chemical Physical pretreatment, Ultrafiltration, Dewatering, EDR)
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment
  • Create and maintain site paperwork, weekly, monthly reports, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
  • Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
  • On-call support as needed for ongoing site operations
  • Strong performance around Environmental, Health, and Safety is a must

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Ability to read drawings of mechanical and electrical diagrams
  • Knowledge of the operation of motors and electrical machines
  • Good communication skills
