Position Overview

We are in search of an Autosar BSW Development Engineer to bolster our team in support of a significant automotive client.

  • Design and develop hard real-time and safety-critical electronic control units for automotive and industrial uses.
  • Software Architecture: AUTOSAR classic.
  • Proficient in AUTOSAR: ETAS authoring and configuration tools.
  • Experience with Microcontrollers: Infineon Aurix2 TC3xx.
  • Familiarity with Compilers: Hightec and Tasking for TC3xx.
  • Debugging expertise with Lauterbach Trace32.
  • Methodological approach: AGILE.
  • Process adherence: ASPICE.
  • Operating Environment: Windows and Linux based.

Required Qualifications

Essential Knowledge

  • Master’s degree in electronics or software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems and associated software toolchains.
  • In-depth understanding of classic AUTOSAR architecture, particularly the BSW layer.
  • Basic knowledge of real-time operating systems for safety-critical embedded control systems.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, CANFD, LIN, and J1939.
  • Understanding of USD and J1939 diagnostic protocols.
  • Knowledge of XCP over CAN communication protocols.
  • Experience with ECU network development and testing tools, preferably Vector CANoe.
  • Knowledge of ECU diagnostic specification management tools, preferably Vector CANape.
  • Understanding of microcontroller digital architectures and peripherals.
  • Basic familiarity with standard debugging tools, preferably Lauterbach Trace32.
  • Proficiency in MISRA C and Python.
  • Experience in using Debuggers.

Language and Interpersonal Skills

  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
