Purchasing Activities

To carry out all purchasing activities, according to the indications and guidelines of the Purchasing Coordinator/Head of Supply Market Management, such as:

  • Preparation of bidder lists;
  • Issuance of inquiries;
  • Commercial bid evaluation and issue of preliminary evaluation;
  • Issue of bid history reports to project teams;
  • Economical and contractual negotiations;
  • Issue of commercial bid evaluations to project teams;
  • Cooperation with project teams in highlighting main reasons of eventual extra budgets and proposing mitigation actions;
  • Issuance of purchase orders and following amendments;
  • Expedition of purchase order acceptance by vendors;
Support to Project Procurement Manager

To support and cooperate with the Project Procurement Manager/Coordinator during the development of supplies in case of any commercial problem with vendors (such as claims, change order requests, liquidated damages discussions, etc.).

Proposal Phase Support

During the proposal phase, if required, to support, in coordination with the relevant Purchasing Group Leader, the Procurement Team (under the lead of the Project Procurement Director) and the Proposal Team from market investigation and inquiry, commercial and contractual negotiations with key suppliers for early selection of manufacturers/suppliers for critical items in accordance with the overall proposal strategy defined by the Proposal Manager.

Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in engineering or technical discipline;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Work experience: at least 3 years gained in engineering companies;
  • Knowledge of the workflow of an international company.
