Daily Responsibilities
As a member of the Service department at Siemens Energy Transformers, you will gain valuable insights into the operations of a Power Transformers manufacturing facility. This role offers the chance to engage with a diverse range of clients and projects across various regions, collaborating with a motivated and international team.
Key Contributions
- Providing exceptional on-site services in key areas such as maintenance, repairs, engineering, consulting, and sophisticated upgrades.
- Coordinating travel arrangements using Siemens Energy tools and preparing all necessary documentation, including comprehensive technical reports.
- Surpassing customer expectations by identifying their needs and uncovering potential sales and business opportunities.
- Proposing product and process enhancements to optimize operations and elevate customer service.
Qualifications
- Educational background in electromechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a field service technician, ideally within the power transformers or electrical substation sectors, with a history of maintenance, repair, and retrofit projects, including the capability to conduct electrical LV tests.
- Strong leadership skills in field projects, with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (minimum 60% of the time).
- Proficiency in both Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
