Fleet & Depot Planner Job Description

Adecco Italia is seeking a skilled Fleet & Depot Planner to join our team in Milano. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and prioritizing depot maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule depot maintenance activities to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Monitor and report on depot maintenance status to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure they are informed about scheduled time slots.
  • Interface with maintenance, retrofit, engineering, and external teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities according to scheduled time slots.
  • Monitor spare parts availability to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Oversee workshop infrastructure and special tool requirements to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage production team workload to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Verify compliance with planned time slots for all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure real-time dissemination of updated planning information within the workshop.
  • Attend daily and extraordinary planning meetings as needed.
  • Schedule special requests using the SAP system.
  • Analyze and report delays to improve future performance.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure spare parts availability.
  • Create and release notifications and service orders for corrective and preventive activities.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or professional level qualifications in technical areas.
  • Technical competencies in railways and train system instruction/knowledge is preferred.
  • Maintenance process knowledge is required.
  • Good IT skills, especially SAP (CS/PM modules). Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
