About the Role:

VHIT S.p.A is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Purchasing Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing partnerships with automotive suppliers and developing product components for series production and new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier partnerships to ensure compliance with automotive standards (PPAP) and Lean Production Principles.
  • Develop and implement preventive quality management strategies from planning to implementation.
  • Act as the supplier's technical point of contact for preventive quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Fluent Italian and English language skills.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar academic background.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in complex manufacturing organizations, preferably in the automotive field.
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 legislation and relevant quality tools (8D, PSS, Hishikawa, Fmea, 5x3 Why).
  • Auditor certification ISO/TS (Lead auditor IRCA is a plus).
  • Components knowledge (Fasteners).
  • VDA 6.3 auditor certification is a plus.

  • Goal-oriented and team builder with excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
