About the Role

The Procurement Operations Intern will support the regional team in driving end-to-end cost and performance improvements, as well as routine settings and preparation. This role will work closely with the Associate Manager, Regional Transportation HQ Europe, and cross-functionally with supply chain teams to identify actionable insights and improve service and cost.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Routine settings and preparation, including comprehension of PowerPoint decks
  • Support Project Managers for strategic projects
  • Ensure accurate logistics opportunities are captured for New Product Development
  • Solve day-to-day operational issues impacting distribution
  • Contribute to primary freight monthly analysis
  • Support cross-functional activities to secure transportation capacity during peak periods
  • Daily support for SAP delivery date updates
  • Support data collection and root cause analysis for Weekly and Monthly Operational Reviews
  • Support continuous improvement plans to improve service KPIs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Economics, or Industrial Management Engineering
  • No experience or short experience in logistics or supply chain (6 months)
  • Microsoft Office applications and SAP experience
