We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Operations Manager - Aero to join our team at Baker Hughes Gruppe. As a key member of our Commercial Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success in the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute commercial proposals for aeroderivative gas turbines, working closely with commercial managers and sales teams.
- Manage proposal bid preparation and processing, ensuring timely and effective delivery of high-quality proposals.
- Lead the development and implementation of commercial strategies, including price and margin management and ROI evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, manufacturing, technical assistance, sales force, and global services, to ensure seamless proposal preparation and execution.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Work with marketing to develop project-specific sales strategies for aeroderivative gas turbines, driving growth and revenue.
- Facilitate customer question and issue resolution, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Evaluate market trends and customer demand to forecast production requirements, informing business planning and decision-making.
- Participate in product design processes, coordinating internal reviews and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Track, monitor, and report on assigned projects, utilizing Deal Machine tool management.
- Additional responsibilities include business planning, market forecasting, and close on-site Contract Administrator and Product Manager liaison.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in proposals, with a strong background in sales and commercial operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
